This spread was designed for an article in an architectural magazine. The article is about a book collaboration by Rem Koolhaas and several other contemporary architects called S,M,L,XL. It depicts their work, stories, and thought processes that allowed them to design buildings that have earned many awards. Copy is arranged in short columns so that the text is not the central focus of the spread while large, illogically placed text over Rem's face is intentional to play to the nonsensical and mysterious nature of his book. At full-size print, the text is clear and easy to read. Digital renderings are not 100% accurate to physical representation.
